Hi there!
I’m Anastasia Kudrow, and I write Ghosted. I’ve been working with SaaS products for about ten+ years now, and honestly, everything has changed in that time except one thing.
Every team I meet knows exactly why their product is good. They can tell me in one sentence, with total conviction, and they’re usually right. Then a user signs up, wanders around like they’ve walked into the wrong building, and leaves. And the team is standing there going, why doesn’t it work? Everyone converts after the demo, what is the difference?
That gap is my whole thing. It's almost never the product itself. It's that we make people hunt for the good part instead of putting it in front of them. So the question I keep digging into is: how do you make the product itself do that job?
So that’s what I write about. Most advice tells you what someone else did and never the logic behind it, so you copy blindly and wonder why it doesn’t fit you at all.
But every week on Ghosted you get:
One real SaaS product, pulled apart step by step
The psychology underneath it, the mechanism that actually makes it work, where else you can apply it, and how it goes wrong when it's misused
The playbook for building it in a way that fits your product, and the pitfalls nobody warns you about
Why listen to me: I was a part of ProductLed team, working alongside Wes Bush, who wrote multiple best-selling books on PLG. I’ve pulled apart hundreds of SaaS products, taken clients from zero to $4M in self-serve revenue, doubled free-to-paid conversion, and tripled free-to-trial. I came into this from psychology, which is the only reason I notice any of it. Oh, I also was a child actor. Which is a whimsical fact that should make you want to meet me (fingers crossed).
Anyway, jump in, you can always unsubscribe, so why worry?
